Raees is another film that has not grossed like a Shahrukh Khan film, but it keeps his unbelievable clash record intact. He is the star with probably the most clashes but comes out on top every time, irrespective of content.
The clashes include big victories against rivals Aamir Khan in 1995 (Ram Jaane v Akele Hum Akele Tum), Akshay Kumar (Yes Boss v Daava, Veer Zaara v Aitraaz, and Don v Jaan-E-Mann), and Salman Khan (Chamatkar v Jaagruti, Don v Jaan-E-Mann, and Om Shanti Om v Saawariya).
In 2015, the Dilwale vs. Bajirao Mastani clash was seen as a defeat, but if the wider picture is seen with worldwide numbers, it was a comfortable victory for Dilwale, and this was only due to the clout of Shahrukh Khan, as the film was not liked as much as Bajirao Mastani, which was said to be hugely appreciated. Even in India, it would have been much closer if the intolerance debate had not happened at the time of release, which cost the film around 15% of its business. Shahrukh Khan has probably defeated every other major star out there in a clash.
Another point to note is that Dilwale in the final count has come out ahead of Bajirao Mastani in worldwide, overseas, television, music, and digital, and only down in India theatrical as the film was weak, but even there it would have been higher if that intolerance protest did not happen at the time of release, which cost the film huge business. It badly affected the film in Punjab, Haryana, UP, MP, Gujarat, Bihar, and Maharashtra.

Shahrukh Khan has won 31 major clashes (27 solo leads) and more than three minor clashes in his 32-year career. But minor clashes should not be counted because other films don't have any chance of grossing more as they have very few screens. Major Clashes means a clash with some other film that got reasonable screens at least or has any type of chance of grossing more. A one-day difference can be counted as a direct clash because some films also have paid previews and some don't. The movie should gross more to win a clash. For example, a 4 crore film can make 10 crore and get superhit status, and a 100 crore film will get hit status after making 110 crore, but that doesn't mean the movie with a better verdict is a winner. The movie should gross more to actually win a clash. If one film is a bigger grosser and the other gets a better verdict, then it will be counted in the draw category.
