Hollywood release XXX - The Return Of Xander Cage which had the top Hindi female star Deepika Padukane floped at the box office.
The media in India made a big deal about it but the audience in India was not really interested.
The film was the first Hollywood film for Deepika Padukone but for that exercise its not really about the collections in India or any other place. Its all about the domestic collections as you have to work in the home market of the industry to have any success.
XXX - The Return Of Xander Cage fared poorly in India and also not performed in North America. The opening was a bit of a disaster with it only collecting $7.15m on its first day compared to the $17.31 million of the original XXX film released in 2002.
In India film did 31 Crore Nett Collections & Its a huge 20 Crore loss for Indian Distributors.
